Christ and the Children

This window is 4'6" x 7'6" and is in three sections. The window features the highest form of the stained glass art. All of the individual pieces are hand painted and fired in a kiln at over 1200 degrees F. permanently fusing the paint into the surface of the glass. The red glass at the top and bottom is flashed glass which is a European mouth blown glass in two layers. In this case it is red over a clear base. The red is etched away exposing the white.
